Richfield Elementary School

August 11, 2009

It is with great respect that I write this letter of recommendation for R & R Horn Construction. I have had the privilege of working with R & R Horn on two construction projects for Richfield Elementary School District. I have found Quin Hogan, and his team, to be honest, open, cost effective, innovative, and punctual. From 2005 to 2008, R & R Horn completed over $5 million in construction for the Richfield Elementary School District. The scope of the project ranged from general site work, as well as classroom construction. In 2005-2006, our small single school district was forced to abandon the existing site due to a natural gas pipeline. After finding a new site, and multiple environmental reports, the district entered into a lease-lease-back agreement with R & R Horn. Understanding the required expediency of the project, R & R Horn worked diligently to complete their scope of the project ahead of schedule. The result was completion of an entire school (13 classrooms, computer lab, library, administrative building, cafeteria, and full-size gym) in six months. R & R was responsible for $5 million in site work. They worked collaboratively with the architect, and other contractors, and assisted the district in decision making that helped with the cost of the project.

The second project completed in the fall of 2008, consisted of two classrooms. Again, R & R completed the project on-time, and within budget. Like the first project, it was a lease-lease-back. Again, my experience with R & R Horn has been very positive. I look forward to working with them in the future and would recommend them for any school construction that you have planned. I look forward to discussing my experience with Quin Hogan and R & R Horn Construction with you further, so please feel free to give me a call.

Sincerely,

Todd A. Brose
