self perform all areas of site work. These items of work include:

Typically we perform 95% of the site work with our own forces. The
ability to self perform the site work gives our firm the ability to control
costs and schedules ensuring the project stays within budget and is
delivered on time.

Estimating & Value Engineering

We perform extensive and practical value engineering to ensure projects
meet the budget constraints of districts. Our estimating experience gives us
the insight to propose many cost saving changes by creating suggestions
for more efficient infrastructure designs. Our goal is to construct cost
efficient systems that provide the same function as the initial design.
We do not view value engineering as just being project scope reduction.
Working with districts, inspectors of records, architects and engineers we
try to catch issues early, avoiding the potential for change orders.

Scheduling & Reporting

Our office personnel are fully capable of preparing budgets, expense
reports, and project schedules as desired by school districts. We use
Sage Timberline and Microsoft Project for all our project management
and accounting needs. These programs are very flexible and can prepare
nearly any custom report needed by the District. We prepare construction
schedules on all projects and our team members are seasoned in following
rigid construction schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time.
We Work in Both Private & Public Sectors.
Our work in the public sector is primarily comprised of school projects,
but also includes major roadway reconstruction, public utility installation,
and levee construction. The majority of our work in the private sector
is made up of return clients as we emphasize building and maintaining
relationships with each of our clients. These private projects include
landfill construction, subdivision infrastructure, site development for
hospitals, shopping centers, office buildings, and other commercial
locations.
